A restless soul who cannot stay put in one place for long that is what would describe me in a sentence. I need change in life which is the only constant factor that keeps me ticking. My travelling spells have taken me outside the sanctity of my home even during the peak of my pregnancy, which many term risky.
Restless moments get me thinking and moving around. Be it with family or solo I love to be on the move. The company of nature and the locals of a place excites and keeps me engaged. I ramble and am always on the look out to know about the history and culture of a place. Trying out the local food is another activity that is on the hit list in my jaunts.
My husband has been my travel companion on road trips at times. Both of us love driving we have taken long road trips across Southern India from Pune taking turns driving our beloved small car The Santro. My kids too have joined us in our escapades and together we are one big team. We have driven through various circuits from Pune
Not always does my family accompany me in my travels. In a year I might have one or two trips with them but otherwise I travel alone. The experiences are numerous and interesting. I come home enriched with the stories of the lives of the locals, their culture, food and the history of the region.
